Glen’s Obituary Glen Franklin Scott, 77, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at The Bridge at Ridgely. He was born on December 13, 1941, in Tiptonville, TN, to the late, Joseph Commodore Scott and the late Sarah Mozella Tucker Scott. Glen was a retired supervisor for the State of Tennessee Department of Transportation.

He was a member of East Dyersburg Methodist Church and was a minister. Glen loved hunting, family gatherings, eating and baseball, especially the St. Louis Cardinals. Services will be at 12 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2019 in the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev.

John Troutman officiating. Burial will be in Savannah City Cemetery in Savannah, TN. The family will receive visitors from 5-9 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2019 at Dyersburg Funeral Home Tiptonville Chapel.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Scott of Tiptonville, TN; two sons, Glen “Peanut” Scott (Rhonda) and Keith Scott (Sherry), all of Bath Springs, TN; a daughter, Tammy Scott Sanders (Richard) of Parsons; two step-daughters, Martha Tucker Connell (Steve) and Laurie Tucker Avery (Kevin), all of Tiptonville, TN; seven grandchildren, Reggie Scott (Brittany), Daniel Scott, T.J. Scott, Randall Scott (Maggie), Michael Scott, Katelyn Scott and Jonathan Sanders; eight step-grandchildren, Parks Lebo, Steven Connell (Kansas), Chelsea Connell Keeling (Dillon), Adam Alexander (Amber), Alton Alexander, Grace Alexander, Kieanna Avery and K.J. Avery; one great-grandchild, Ruby Scott; and eight step-great-grandchildren, Peyton Lebo, Kalie Lebo, Jay Lebo, Presley Eddlemon, Jet Connell, Brooklyn Keeling, Taylen Alexander and Samir Avery. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Billie Joyce Scott; a sister, Marie Scott; and a brother, J.D. Scott. Pallbearers will be Reggie Scott, Daniel Scott, T.J. Scott, Randall Scott, Michael Scott and Jonathan Sanders.
