Glenda Gibbs Green, age 76, of Cumming, GA, went on to be with the Lord peacefully Saturday, March 2, 2019. She was born on January 31, 1943, to the late Coa and Herbert Gibbs. She married her sweetheart, Edmund Lamar Green, September 23rd, 1961.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Dawson. She is survived by her husband, Lamar Green; son, Eddie (Mary Ann) Green; daughters, Tammy (Sandy) Martin, and Buffy (Thomas) Mims; grandchildren, Heidi (Cody) Sweat, Jonathan (Katie) Baylin, Ashley (Alex) Bagley, Hayden (Jessie) Martin and Shelley Turpin; great grandchildren, Laura Belle Bagley, Coa Sweat, Clara Bagley and Cavender Sweat (due in April); sisters-in-law, Joyce Green and Linda Green; brother-in-law, Loy (Gwen) Green; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Green will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA, with Rev.

Benny Clark, Rev. Bud Sutton, Rev. Dan Henderson and Rev.

Jeff Wilkie officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of her sister, Wanda Dawson at www. cancer.org Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming is in charge of arrangements.
