Glendell Arlon Washburn, age 81, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Baptist Health, Madisonville, KY. Mr. Washburn was born on January 7, 1937 in Princeton, KY to the late Rev. John Long Washburn and Geneva Ellen Driskill Washburn.

He served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1954 through 1957. Mr. Washburn worked and retired with General Motors of Ohio after 32 years. He is a member of the Faith Apostolic Church of Princeton, KY.

White) of Dawson Springs, KY, Lisa Dawn Washburn (Chris) Adkins, and Amy (Shannon) Albro of Greenville, KY ; two sons ~ David Arlon (Lynn) Washburn and Nathan Stallins of Dawson Springs, KY; one sister ~ Mildred Washburn Peters of Princeton, KY; seven grandchildren ~ Jerad Arlon Washburn, Thomas Adkins, Justin Allen Washburn, Christina Dawn Tuckett, Christian Adkins, Zander Albro and Jaxon Stallins; four great-grandchildren ~ Micah Washburn, Christopher Adkins, Leigha Adkins and Kyle White; and one niece ~ Sharon Peters. Preceding Mr.Washburn in death are his parents. Visitation for Mr. Glendell Arlon Washburn will be Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY with Rev.

Bob Allen and Rev. Jesse Cavness officiating. Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery, Dawson Springs, KY where the U. S. Navy will present Military Honors.
