Mrs. Glenia Cromer Barrett, age 68, of Hiawassee, GA, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at her home with her daughter by her side. Glenia was born in Luner, KY, on May 20, 1950, a daughter of the late Arlie Ralph Cromer, and the late Zelma Fern Doan Cromer. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Those left to celebrate her life are her children: Michael Wallen and Denise of Carnesville, GA, and Diana Arrowood and Emmitt of Hiawassee, GA; her grandson: Michael William Wallen; her brothers: Keith, Calvin, Joe, Marvin, and Melvin Cromer; her sisters: Sylvia Rice, Bernice Mink, Nina Mink, Phyllis Cox, and Zelma Gabbard; a brother-in-law, Everett Renner; as well as a host of several niece, nephews, friends and neighbors. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Albert Barrett, and a sister Naomi Renner. Services for Mrs. Barrett will be held Monday, May 13, 2019 at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals, beginning with the visitation from 11am – 2pm followed by the funeral at 2pm, with Bro.

Ova Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Albert Mink Cemetery. Condolences can be made to the family at www.
