Obituary for Glenn Allen Suggs Print MARIETTA – Funeral services for Glenn Alton Suggs, 67, will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019 in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. A period of visitation will follow the service.
The family suggests for those that will to please wear suspenders in honor of Glenn. Glenn died Friday morning, Feb. 22, 2019 at WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Ga.
He was born in Cordele to the late George Alton Suggs and the late Joan Janette Murray Suggs. Glenn was a software developer for Georgia Power. He was a music lover and an accomplished musician playing the piano.
Trumpet, guitar, French horn and other instruments. He was a Beatles aficionado and loved chilidogs from the Cordele Poolroom. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife: Jean Suggs of Cordele; his children: Damien (Claudia) Suggs of Marietta, Jessica (Franklin) Broesche of Marietta, Bobby (Heather) Wright of Leesburg, Justin (Jessica) Wright of Albany and John David Wright of Leesburg; his sister: Tammy (Steve) Robinson of Belton, Tex. ; his grandchildren: Sofia Suggs, Etienne Suggs, Devin Wright, Dyllan Wright, Emoree Wright, Elana Wright, Bradley Wright and Lexi Norman; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
