Obituary for Mr. Glenn Merle Eriksen Eriksen, Glenn Merle Age 76, of Bloomington, MN, passed away on October 2, 2018. Born in Minneapolis on June 13, 1942 to Anton and Inez Eriksen of Edina. He is survived by daughter, Thielen Karll; son-in-law, Jeff Karll, and grandchildren, James and Alexander of Bettendorf, Iowa; son, Anthony (Tony) Eriksen of Bloomington, MN; Jeanne Emrich, former wife, friend, and the mother of their children Edina, MN; brother, Allan Eriksen and brother-in-law Todd Wright of Richmond, Virginia.

Glenn served in the Army Reserve (1966-72) and was a Certified Public Accountant in private practice for 40 years ( March 1, 1978) remaining unretired at the time of his death. He was a member and officer of the Masonic Lodge No. 113 and Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 20, both in Excelsior.

Glenn was a Recipient of the rarely given and prestigious Hyram award presented in 2018 from The Grand Lodge of Minnesota #113 for outstanding service to Free Masonry. An avid car collector, Glenn was a member of the Antique Auto Club of America and the Heritage Auto Club. He still possessed the first car he ever owned, a rare 1925 REO Model T6 Sports roadster convertible.

He bought the car with earnings from his paper routes when he was only 15. Funeral Service at Washburn-McReavy Edina 11AM Thursday, October 11th followed by reception. Visitation 5-7PM Wednesday, October 10th as well as one hour prior to the service.

Private entombment at Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN. Donations in lieu of flowers to Shriners Children’s Hospital www. lovetotherescue.org.
