William Glenn Stuart, also know as “Stu”, 67, of Shelby/Helena, passed away on November 29, 2018 in Shelby. Funeral services will be held December 3rd, 3:00 pm, 2018 at Whitted Funeral Chapel, 225 6TH AVE S Shelby, MT. Glenn was born in San Francisco, CA to Margaret Martin and Harold Stuart on 04/05/1951.

He went to school at Immaculate Conception Grade School and Butte High School in Butte, MT. He married Jody Horne in 1993. He hired out for Burlington Northern Railroad in 1971 and retired with honors after 42 years of service.

He was involved in Haps social hour, Shelby rod runs, automobile restoration as well as boat racing and hydroplane racing in his earlier years with his friends and son, Bart. Glenn is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Stuart and Father, Harold Stuart as well as many companion animals. Glenn is survived by his beloved wife, Jody and his children Jenny Parker (Brian), Amy Hiestand, Bart Stuart, Shelbie Northcutt (Jason) and Tyler Brown.

His sister Joyce Stuart (Duane Roll) and brother Hal Stuart. His 12 grandchildren, Courtney, Hannah, Bryson, Brady, Kelsie, Jacie, Anna, Nick, Lauren, Gentry, Caleb and Moriah as well as 4 great grandchildren Daven, Sophia, Layla and Declan. Glenn is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as many loving friends.

Memorials may be given to The Margaret Stuart Youth Home in Helena, MT. The family of Glenn wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff of Marias Healthcare Facility.
