Glenn W. Galko, 61, of Salem Twp. , passed away on June 8, 2018 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on January 27, 1957 in Pittsburgh to the late William and Doris (Porch) Galko.

Glenn is survived by his loving daughter, Sara A. Galko (Erik Fernitz) of Murrysville; step-daughter, Autumn Daniels (Lee) Cichnelli; and sister, Anita K. Galko (fiance Richard Witchko) of Evans City. Glenn worked in the building industry all of his life, starting out with his father at Building Components in Murrysville. He later went to work for Trusco and most recently for Foundation Building Materials, LLC.

He was an active member at Denmark Manor United Church of Christ. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf with the Manor Valley Golf League and was a proud member of the Shuffle Board League of the Italian American Club. Glenn was a Steeler’s season ticket holder and lifelong fan.

Friends will be received Sunday from 3-5 p.m. and Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Denmark Manor United Church of Christ, 2003 Denmark Manor Rd. , Export, PA 15632 with Pastor Don Watkins officiating.

(Everyone please meet at church. ) Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery-Denmark Manor. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Denmark Manor UCC in Glenn’s memory.
