Celebration of life services for Glennis Louise Lively, 76, Blackwell resident, will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Ponca City with Pastor Brent McCoy officiating. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service. Glennis was born on July 31, 1942 in El Dorado, Kansas, the daughter of Glen and Doris Griffen Van Fleet, and passed away peacefully on December 26, 2018 in Blackwell.

She moved with her family to Blackwell when she was 10 years old. Glennis graduated from the Blackwell High School with the class of 1960. she married James Dean Lively on June 3, 1960 in Blackwell.

Glennis worked at Safeway for many years. She enjoyed traveling to concerts (everything Elvis), making home made items including baby dolls and food. Surviving Glennis include her husband, James of the residence; grandchildren, Jesse Lively of Ponca City, and Kayla Wine of the residence.
