Johnson, Sr., age 96 of Richards, TX, passed away on January 7, 2019. He is preceded in death by parents Herbert Johnson and Eula Davidson Johnson; first wife Kitty Knebel; second wife Lesta Burt; sons Sherrick Johnson, Glennon Johnson, Jr.; brothers Homer Johnson, Otis Johnson; sister Annie Mae Kirchoff. He is survived by daughters Deborah Johnson Wood and husband Ray, Judy Collette Johnson Asa and husband Jim; grandchildren Julie Yargo and husband Johnny, Jimmy Asa and husband Michael, Jordan Asa and fiancé Brandon; great grandchildren Cheyenne Flournoy, Dakota Yargo; great great grandchildren Greyson and Sadie Claire Flournoy; as well as other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 5-7 pm at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday, January 11, 2019 at 11 am at Canon Funeral Home with ___ officiating. Interment will follow at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.
