Gloria Helon Warren September 17, 1943 – January 8, 2918 Gloria Helon Parrish Warren, age 75, of Jasper, Georgia passed away peacefully on January 8, 2019 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, Georgia. Gloria was born in Norfolk, Virginia on September 17, 1943, the daughter of the late Baylus Cade Parrish and Evelyn Webb Parrish. Throughout the years she gained much satisfaction from her work with Douglas and Cobb General Hospitals in the Environmental Services Division.

She enjoyed several hobbies including singing and dancing. Gloria spent time appreciating the outdoors while gardening and she loved her animals. She especially enjoyed spending quality time with her children and grandchildren.

Christmas was her favorite time of the year and she was a Christian. She is survived by her children, Sherrie Postell (Scott), Waleska, Georgia, Bryan White (Susi), Temple, Georgia and Alan White (Marcella), Villa Rica, Georgia, brothers, David Parrish, St. Augustine, Florida and Glenn Parrish, Nevada. Eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Warren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Dr. Kevin Williams officiating. Following the service and in accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated.
