Gloria J. (Brousseau) Sloan, 70, of Mansfield, wife of William Sloan Jr., died Tuesday April 17, 2018 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut. She was born in Willimantic, the daughter of the late Fred and Thelma (Lehman) Brousseau. Gloria enjoyed shopping, playing cards with family and friends and taking family trips to Florida.

Gloria also loved her cats and dogs and most of all spending time with her grandkids. In addition to her husband, Bill, she is survived by two daughters, Jennifer M. Edwards and her husband Justin and Patricia L. Sloan; a brother Ronald J. Brousseau; two grandchildren, Kobe J. Edwards and Karen J. Payne. Gloria’s family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday April 24, 2018 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte.

195) Willimantic, followed by a graveside service at 11:30am at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Windham.
