Gloria Jane Guymon Ashton 1925 – 2018 Gloria Jane Guymon Ashton passed away at home, on June 19, 2018. She was 92. Born October 22, 1925 to Claude and Mary Alice Guymon, she married Wesley Ashton on March 2, 1946.

She was born, raised a family and lived her life in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is survived by her son, Ryan George Ashton, daughter, Claudia Ashton Cohen, son-in-law, Randy Cohen and brothers, Steven and Ron Guymon. It was Gloria’s wish to have a graveside service, followed by a gathering for sharing memories.

She had a big beautiful smile and loved to laugh. She hoped to be remembered happily, with as few tears as possible. Gloria also had a generous heart and loved surprises.

She requested that in lieu of flowers, unexpected acts of kindness be shared with someone living. Please pass on the thoughtfulness she so readily showed to others. The graveside service will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (3401 S. Highland Dr) on Saturday, June 30th at noon, followed by a memory sharing lunch for family and friends at Mt.

Olympus Stake, Neff’s Canyon Ward (4176 Adonis Dr.).
