Obituary for Gloria Juanita Smith Gloria Juanita Smith, 85, of Boonsboro, MD, passed away at Doey’s House on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 surrounded by family. Born January 4, 1933 in Yarrowsburg, MD to the late Merle and Ottolie Virginia Kitzmiller Deener, she enjoyed bowling and gardening, and was a Dallas Cowboys and NY Yankees fan. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Chester David Smith, two sons Rodney Scott and Jason Adam Smith, brothers Irvin and Ronald Deener, and her sister Geraldine Morris.

She is survived by her son David Wayne Smith, and his wife, Gail, daughters Lou Ann Alvey, Kristy Lynne Bowers, and Karen Sue Smith, seven grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, her brothers Frank, Eugene, and Robert Deener, and her sister Delores Rickerts. Memorial Services will be held at the Brownsville Church of the Brethren, 1911 Rohrersville Road, Knoxville, MD 21758 on December 15, 2018 at 4:00 PM.
