COLES, GLORY DENICE, age 53, born September 15, 1965 in Bolivar, Mississippi to the late A. C. and Eathel Payton (Sledge), passed away peacefully Thursday, February 7, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her husband and children. She attended Austin High School in Chicago, Illinois. She moved to Dayton, Ohio in 1982 where she attended Job Corps.

In 1996, she married Tommy J. Coles. She worked at Imagine of Dayton for three years. She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband of 23 years, Tommy J. “TC” Coles; daughter, Guquaya Payton; sons, Gujuan “Waun” Payton, Gudonavon “Don-Don” Taylor, Lorenzo “LC” Coles; step-daughters, Inez (James) Coles, Tonya Coles; step-son, Tommy “TJ” Coles, Jr.; loving sisters, Betty Davis, Brinda Payton (Jonny Moore), Mary Payton, Lisa (David) Merrero; loving brothers, Albert Payton, Jr., Derick Payton; step-sisters, Thelma Payton, Joyce Mann, Phyliss Sledge; special grandchild, Arianna Monae Peagler, as well as other grandchildren, Gujuan Payton, Jr., Haylo Payton, Gu’Michael Payton, Jordan Walder, Josiah Payton; step-granddaughters, Brionah Coles, Crystal Birkins, Shameka Coles, Tomarionah Coles, Unique Moore, Miracle Coles; step- grandsons, Tommar Coles, Vincient Wright, Terrion Coles, Danny Moore, III, D’James A. Moore; caring sisters-in-law, Tina Coles, Barbara Coles; best friends, Lauver King and Shirley Williams; a host of other loving and caring family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc, 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Visitation 9 am Saturday at the funeral home until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

Interment John Devine Baptist Church Cemetery, Bay Springs, MS.
