Gordon Franklin Price, Jr. passed away at his home in Martinez, Georgia, Saturday November 17, 2018. Funeral services will be private. Born in Selma, North Carolina on November 9, 1953, Gordon was the eldest of three children.

He was a graduate of North Johnston High School and attended college at East Carolina University. He served in the United States Air Force before being employed by Virginia Power, in Surry, Virginia. From there he and his family moved to Grimesland, North Carolina where he worked as an Electrical Journeyman for L J Electrical Company out of Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

For the last twelve years he has resided in Martinez, Georgia where he tended his garden and enjoyed trout fishing in the mountains of North Georgia. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him but we will rest in the peace of knowing he is with our Lord. He is survived by his wife, Terrie Price of Martinez, Georgia; one son, Seth Parker Price of Rutherford County; one daughter, Melissa Price Eastwood and husband, Chad of Winterville; one stepson, Matthew Raley of Martinez, Georgia; mother, Ruth Norris Price of Atlantic Beach; brother, Robert Price and wife, Tracy of New Bern; one grandson, Caleb Alexander Eastwood; two granddaughters Rylee Adele Eastwood and McKinzey Raley; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon (Bill) Price; his brother Parker Price; his daughter Amy Price; his former spouse Ellen Price; his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Willis Price and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Norris.
