Grace D. Slaton, 101, of Durand, IL, died at 6:50 a.m., Friday, May 17, 2019 at Medina Nursing Center after a lengthy illness. Born May 17, 1918 in Durand Township, IL, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stewart and Maud (Wells) Derwent. Graduated from Durand High School, Class of 1936.

Married Maurice Keller in Durand, IL on May 28, 1938. On October 8, 1968 she married George Slaton in Davis, IL. She was an Avon Representative for many years.
