Obituary for Grace Earnest Grace Earnest, 96 of International Falls, MN passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Rainy Lake Medical Center in International Falls. Grace was born on November 12, 1921 in Potamo Township in rural Williams, MN, where she grew up and attended school. The former Grace Williams was united in marriage to her first husband Russell Johnson on January 11, 1941.

She was employed at Marvin Windows in Warroad MN. Grace moved to International Falls in 1985 and married her second husband Garland Earnest on May 19, 1990. Grace enjoyed visiting with friends and going out to eat and traveling.

She enjoyed playing card games, BINGO, and Banana Grams. She spent hours coloring in her art coloring books. She made many quilts for her great-grandchildren.

Grace played the piano and accordion and loved music. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Margaret Williams; her husbands, Russell Johnson in 1984, and Garland Earnest in 2006; step-sons, Duane Earnest, Glenn Earnest; three brothers, Morgan Williams, Howell Williams, Elwyn Williams; two sisters, Blodwen Eickhoff, Ellen Henry; and one great-grandchild. Grace is survived by three sons, Wayne (Evelyn) Johnson, Lloyd (Vicki) Johnson, Robert (Mary) Johnson; three daughters, Marvel (Kenneth) Krauter, Elaine Story (Larry Anderson), Beverly (Stuart) Olson; step-children, Louise (Jerry) Dion, Marie (Todd) Morris, Delbert Earnest; twelve grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Evangelical Covenant Church in International Falls. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Interment will be on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Graceton Cemetery in Graceton, MN.
