Grace’s Obituary Grace Irene Arke, age 92 of Mechanicsburg, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Carolyn’s Residence, Harrisburg. Born February 22, 1927 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Elinor Kriner. Grace was active at the Mechanicsburg Senior Center and at Bethany Towers.

She was involved in several productions at both Little Theatre of Mechanicsburg and Oyster Mill Playhouse. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and for many years was in a bowling league at the ABC West Bowling Lanes. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert C. Arke and her four sisters and three brothers.

Surviving are her three children, Edward T. Arke and wife Diane; Elizabeth A. Lavitz and husband Jay; MaryLou Mohn and husband Keith and eight grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 10, at Malpezzi Funeral Home, 8 Market Plaza Way, Mechanicsburg. There will be a visitation from 5:30 until time of services at the funeral home.

Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Pittsburgh. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Rd. , Harrisburg, PA 17110 or Bethany Towers Residence Association, 335 Wesley Dr., Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
