Grace’s Obituary Grace Jeanette Pounders, age 88, of McDonough died Sunday, January 27, 2019. She was born in Franklin, Georgia to the late William and Myra Short Pike. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elvis O’Neal Pounders and sisters, Helen Abner, Willie Young, and Ora Daniel.

Mrs. Pounders is survived by her daughter, Minnie Lee Stephens Dempsey of McDonough, GA; niece, Doris Dean and several more nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at The Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Chaplain Janet Bandy officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www. cannonclevelandfunerals.com.
