Sinton – Grady Sliva passed away December 22, 2018. He was 59. Grady was born in Sinton, Texas on October 18, 1959 to Glenn and Peggy (Gossett) Sliva.

Grady was a life-long resident of Sinton where he attended Sinton schools. He was the owner/operator of his business, GCS. Grady never met a stranger.

He was kind to everyone he met. Everyone who knew and loved Grady will miss him sorely. He is preceded in death by his father, Glenn Sliva.

Survivors include his wife: Kay Sliva of Sinton, Texas; daughters: K’Layn Brown (Patrick) of Corpus Christi, Texas and Kobi Smith (Ruston) of Taft, Texas; grandchildren: Kase Brown, Keagan Brown and Layton Smith; mother: Peggy Owens of Sinton, Texas; brothers: Terry Sliva (Carol) of Pleasanton, Texas and Randy Sliva of Sinton, Texas; sister: Connie Wilson (Dana) of Three Rivers, Texas; in-laws: Thomas and Laverne Touchstone of Rockport, Texas; and a multitude of friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. The family will receive guests from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 27, 2018, 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Sinton with Mr. Sam Lankford officiating. Burial will follow in Sinton Cemetery, Sinton. Pallbearers will be Joel Garcia, Steve Gittinger, Trey Hill, Timmy Patrova, Jeff Jessop, Mac Wilson, Gary Kelley, Bubba Martin, Dru Cave, Melvin Thompson, Ronnie Dietz and Dana Wilson.
