Grant Urquhart. 23 Grant Urquhart passed away on Friday night, January 25, 2019, at the age of 23. Born on October 30, 1995 in Lakeland, Florida, Grant loved his hometown so much that he, along with his family, founded Lakeland Rocks, a widely popular movement in which residents and visitors of Lakeland paint small rocks and leave them in public areas throughout the city, for others to find and place at a new site, creating a chain of finding and hiding rocks throughout the community.

Grant was employed at Stewart Stainless Supply, Inc., where he worked a stainless processor. He leaves behind his parents, Scott and Kristy Urquhart; brother Justin Urquhart; love of his life Taylor Sharer; grandparents Louise Urquhart, Herman Blom, Bonnie and Dennis Brown; great-grandfather Robert Akins; and sister-in-law Melissa Barryman-Urquhart. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 10-11:00 AM at Gentry-Morrison Southside Chapel. A service to immediately follow at 11 AM. Interment at Oak Hill Burial Park.
