Obituary for Gregory L. “Greg” Johnson Print Gregory “Greg” L. Johnson, 55, of Cheyenne passed away February 6, 2019 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. He was born March 28, 1963 in Newcastle, WY to LaVern and Sheila Johnson. He married Jennifer Black on September 1, 2001 in Newcastle.

He was a head operator for Holly Frontier Refinery and was formerly on the refinery Fire Brigade. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Johnson of Cheyenne; children Nicholas Casey and Ashley Casey of Cheyenne; parents, Sheila (Jim Parks) Johnson of Newcastle and LaVern (Carolyn) Johnson of Newcastle; sisters, Jodi Smith of Rawlins, and Tina Johnson of Newcastle; nieces, Morgan (Alex) Bass, Montana (Josh) Russell and Payton Ellingford; father-in-law, Ray Black; brothers-in-law, Raymond Black, William (Cindy Woodworth) Black; sister-in-law, Nadine Black (Charlie Swainson) & family; aunts and uncles, Kathy (Curt) Allen, Bonnie Davis; cousins, Randy and Annette Quest & family, Rick (Debbie) Quest, George (Vicki) Johnston and numerous friends and family. Those who wish may contribute to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter, American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
