HEARD, Gregory Lynn, age 59, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018 after a lengthy illness. He was born November 20, 1959 to Malcolm and Margarette Heard. He is preceded in death by his father, Elder Malcolm Heard and sister, Karen Heard.

He is survived by his mother, Margarette Heard; brothers, Malcolm (Kelly) Heard, Jonathan (Dekisha) Heard, Christopher L. Heard; sisters, Kimberly A. Heard, Janet M. Heard, Margaret D. Heard, all of Dayton; special friend, Ann Woodfork; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Service will be held 12 noon Thursday, December 13, 2018 at LOVE CHAPEL C.O.G.I.C., 1206 Oakridge Drive. Pastor Malcolm A. Heard, officiating.

Visitation 9 am to 12 pm. Family will receive friends 11 am to 12 pm. Interment Dayton National Cemetery.

Arrangements entrusted to HOUSE OF WHEAT Funeral Home, Inc. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the Miami Valley Hospital staff, Kindred Hospital staff and Daysprings Nursing Home Staff.
