Gregory Roger Martin, Sr. ROMNEY, WV – Gregory Roger Martin, Sr. of Romney, died on November 30, 2018 at Moran Manor in Westernport, MD. Born on May 12, 1949 in Keyser, WV he was a son of the Late Lionel E. and Helen Delores (Jennings) Martin. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Harry and Hilda (Thrush) Rogers.

Gregory graduated from Keyser High School, Class of 1967 and was a retired Mechanic from Westvaco. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Katherine Ann (Shultz) Martin; his children, Valorie Simpson and husband Brian, Gregory Martin, Jr. and wife Rhonda and Jennifer Harman; his sisters, Deanna Ours and husband Edward; his grandchildren, Travis and Mariah Martin, Kayla Simpson, Alex Simpson, Colton Harman, Dylan Harman and Brooke Salesky and his great-grandchildren, Camryn Harman, Cyron Harman, Gracie Rowles and Mason Salesky.

He is also survived by his special niece, Jeannette Barnes and children Chelsea McGann and Gage McGann. Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00pm and 6:00 – 8:00pm. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 11:00am with the Reverend Lauren A. Godwin officiating.

Interment will follow services in Queens Point Cemetery.
