Greta Reina Tortorici, 88, of Hueytown passed tragically to be with the Lord on September 8, 2018. Greta was born to Joseph and Mary (Salomone) on July 24, 1930 in Birmingham. She was married to Andrew J. Tortorici for 68 years.

Together, they operated the Docena Lucky Store from 1961 – 1998. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary, and her son-in-law, John Nagle. She is survived by her husband, Andrew; daughters, Diane Nagle and Linda Tortorici; granddaughter, Andrea (Ryan) Fisher; great-grandchildren, Rand and Egan Fisher; sisters, Marie (Sylvester) Varagona and Josephine (Henry) Carter; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In this time of sorrow, the family wishes to thank everyone for their support; it was Greta’s wish that no service would be held.
