Obituary for Guadalupe Cavazos Raymondville, Texas Guadalupe Velez Cavazos, 90 of Raymondville, TX, entered into rest Saturday, December 1, 2018 at her home. She was born on December 12, 1927 in Mexico, daughter of Pedro and Maria Luisa (Jimenez) Velez. Guadalupe is preceded in death by her husband, Uvaldo Cavazos and survived by her sons, Domingo Cavazos, Ramon V. Cavazos, Martin V. Cavazos, Uvaldo “Billy” Cavazos; daughters, Maria G. Alvarado, Maria L Mata, Martha Rincon, Rosalinda Rincon, Adela V. Cavazos, Gloria V. Cavazos, numerous grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday and Tuesday,, December 3 & 4, 2018 at Duddlesten Funeral Home, with a rosary each evening at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 693 N. 3rd, Raymondville, Texas on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Raymondville Memorial Cemetery, Raymondville, Texas. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Uvaldo “B.J.” Cavazos, Jr., Mathew Moore, Ramon Cavazos, Martin Cavazos, Domingo Cavazos and Ruben Garcia. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Duddlesten Funeral Home, 604 W. Hidalgo Ave.
