OBITUARY Guy Willard Britton April 19, 1936 – September 1, 2018 Rev. Guy W. Britton, 82, of Charleston, WV, went to be with our Lord Jesus on Sept. 1, 2018 after a short illness.

He was born April 19, 1936, a son to the late Harry and Lestia Britton. He served as a Sargent in the U.S. Army from 1954-1956. In 1998, he retired from WV Heating and Plumbing.

He pastored at Thompson Chapel, Heizer Creek Church and Kelly’s Creek Community Church. He currently attended God’s Lighthouse. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

As we are mourning his departure, he is rejoicing in the Lord’s love. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Barbara; five daughters, Patty Lowe (Brian), Teresa Withrow (Terry), Robin Parsons (Dewayne), Lynn Thompson (Mark), and Gwen Ramsey (Danny). He has 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and counting.

He is also survived by his sister, Till Fisher. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Buck Jones, Parvin, Charles and Kenneth Britton; one sister, Josie Burdette; and grandson, Jonathan Lowe. Services will be held on Tuesday, Sept.

4, at 7:00 pm at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home, 5233 Rocky Fork Road, Cross Lanes, WV with Pastor Mayford Witt officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00pm until the time of service on Tuesday. Online condolences can be sent to the family by visiting www.
