Gwen Lee Oliver, 79, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday February 12, 2019 at 11:16 pm in Union Hospital. She had worked for many years at RR Donnelley and retired from Flooring America. She was born September 20, 1939 in Terre Haute to Dale Schell and Estel (Dalgarn) Schell.

Gwen is survived by her husband William “Ron” Oliver; a daughter, Rhonda Chervenko (Michael) of Prairieton; a son, William “Bill” Oliver (Ellie) of Terre Haute; a sister, Sondra “Sandy” Jones of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Joshua Chervenko (Jackie) of Terre Haute, Jessie Oliver of Costa Rica, Logan Chervenko (Michelle) of Wellington, FL, Jeremiah Oliver (Kimberly) of Terre Haute, and Emilee Chervenko (Jed) of Terre Haute and great-grandchildren, Peyton and Devon Oliver and Talon and Ryder Chervenko. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Ryan Thomas Oliver. Gwen was a member of the Prairieton United Methodist Church and also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (D.A.R.).

She also loved playing bridge with her friends. Visitation will be Friday February 15, 2019 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services on Saturday February 16, 2019 at 3:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Julie Puttmann officiating. Burial will be in New Harmony Cemetery.
