Magnolia- Gwendolyn Delores Lawrence of Magnolia passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2018 at Kent General Hospital in Dover. She was 70. Mrs. Lawrence was born in Wilmington, NC the daughter of the late Roger and Rosa Lee (Williams) Nixon.

Mrs. Lawrence was a Daycare Operator for several years. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, cruises and spending time with her family. Mrs. Lawrence was a member of Pentecostals of Dover Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Lisa Lawrence and a son Shawn Nixon. She is survived by her loving husband od 43 years, Anthony Lawrence: Children Keena Keller of PA ad Keenan Lawrence of Magnolia; granddaughter Lisa Lawrence of Magnolia and 3 sisters; Doris Pauling, Dorothy Pettaway, Frances Williams and Patricia Lawrence also one brother Melvin Nixon. A funeral service will be held 11am on Monday, November 26, 2018 at the Pentecostals of Dover Church, 4462 West Dennys Rd.
