OBITUARY Hal Simons September 26, 1928 – September 11, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Wall N.J. Harold (Hal) Simons, 89 of Manasquan passed away on September 11, 2018 at Meridian Rehabilitation in Wall Township NJ. Harold was born in Brooklyn NY to Seymour and Anna. Hal played basketball for LIU during his college days.

He enjoyed a prestigious 30-year career in the automotive industry. He had a wonderful personality, a great sense of humor, and love of all sports. Hal is survived by his wife of 66 years, Arline.

Hal is survived by his son Howard and daughter-in-law Nancy of Howell, and his son Alan and daughter-in-law Deborah of Fayetteville, NY. , and his five grandchildren, Lauren, Jeffrey, Matthew, Alexis, and Sara. Hal was predeceased by his brother Jacques.

Family and friends are invited to a chapel service at 11:00 AM, Friday September 14, at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapel on Highway 35 in Ocean Township NJ, which will be followed by burial at Maplewood Cemetery in Freehold NJ. The family will receive friends following services until 6 p.m. on Friday, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the Simons Manasquan residence.
