Obituary for Mr. Harold Carl Greenway Mr. Harold Carl Greenway, 92, of Elberton, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018 at his home. A native of Elbert County, Mr. Greenway was the son of the late William Carl and Nettie Teasley Greenway. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Betty Jane Anderson Greenway a daughter, Kimberly Greenway and siblings, James Greenway and Doris Vaughn.
He was retired from John D. Stephens Construction Company. He served his country in the United States Navy. Survivors include daughters, Cheryl Kennedy, Bogart, Carla Creel, Walnut Cove, N.C., Pamela Greenway (Tom), Rock Branch, Katrina White (Gary), Hartwell, daughter in law, Claudia Erdmann, Frisco, Texas; grandchildren, Stephen Kennedy, Michele Fambrough (Wesley), Ayanna Greenway, Penny Black, April Greenway, Patrick Greenway, William White (Laura), Addy Agee (Michael), Pam Cruce (Zack), and Monica Quattrocchi (Robert); great grandchildren, Aydon Greenway, Delia Greenway, Kayla Lockett, Kimberly Camille Cruce, Elizabeth Quattrocchi, and Anastasia Quattroccchi; siblings, Nora Cantu and Dora Hamilton; and grand puppy, Gus White.
Funeral services will be at 2:00pm, Thursday, November 29, 2018 in the chapel of Hicks Funeral Home, with Rev. Susan Hatcher officiating. Interment will follow in the Coldwater UMC Cemetery with military honors.
Patrick Greenway, Stephen Kennedy, Wesley Fambrough, William White, Michael Agee, Zack Cruce and Robert Quattrocchi will serve as pallbearers. A time of visitation will begin at 12:30pm until 1:45pm Thursday, just prior to the service, at the funeral home. Flowers will be graciously accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Coldwater UMC, 1753 Coldwater Rd.
