He leaves behind his legacy to 2 sons; Alan Armstrong, and Jerry Hitchcock, 2 daughters; Deborah Townsend, and Denise (Jerry) Bishop, 2 brothers; Johnnie Hitchcock, and Paul Hitchcock, 2 sisters; Mary Sue Jobe, and Martha Ann Boyd, 25 grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends. Public visitation will be held Monday, February 04, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Ivy K Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Avenue SE.
