THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING FOR THE NELSON FAMILY AND ROPER AND SONS FUNERAL HOME OF LINCOLN, NE Harold D. Nelson, 75, Lincoln, died Friday, May 10, 2019. He was born August 24, 1943 in Lincoln, NE to Dr. Richard and Nelda (Sanner) Nelson. U. S. Air Force veteran.

He was a retired Letter Carrier for the U. S. Postal Service, also worked at NAPA Car Parts for 14 years. Harold was a member of the American Legion-Superior, NE and of O.E.S. Chapter #142-Ogallala, NE. He is survived by his wife, Martha; children, John (Susan) Otte, Lincoln, NE and Sarah (Waylon) Lewis, North Platte, NE; grandchildren, Belle, Quinn, Denali and Isaiah Otte, Corbin Lewis and Nina Henson; brother, William (Myrna) Nelson, Las Vegas, NE; sister, Dee (Ron) Thompson, Superior, NE; cousin, Elaine Hurley, Papillion, NE.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 “O” St., Lincoln, NE. Cremation, no visitation.

Memorials may be given to the family for future designation.
