OBITUARY Harold R. Worfler September 11, 1964 – October 9, 2018 Harold Rudolf Worfler of Pevely, MO, was born on September 11, 1964, and he passed away on October 9, 2018, at 54 years old. He was the son of Alfred (deceased) and Brigitte Worfler of St. Louis, MO. Harold was a member of Carondolet Park Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

He married Cheri Lynne Ammons, of Farmington, MO, on April 16, 1988. They attended Carondolet Park Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses together until they moved to Barnhart MO in 1993, when they became members of the Imperial Congregation. Harold is survived by his wife Cheri Lynne Worfler of Pevely, MO and his mother, Brigitte Worfler.

Harold was one of six children and is survived by Ronald Worfler, and his wife Maria; Sonja Turner and her husband Clint; Manfred Worfler (wife Susan, deceased); Andreas Worfler, and his wife Crystal; and Heidi Worfler. He was also a beloved uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. Harold will be greatly missed by his surviving family members and friends.

Harold worked at Sigma Aldrich/Millipore Sigma for over 30 years as a Maintenance Mechanic. He was very fond of his co-workers and loved his job. Harold loved music and loved to dance.

He loved traveling and fine dining; and he loved to cook. Socializing with family and friends brought Harold great joy! He enjoyed spending time with children, and he loved helping others.

Harold took pleasure in learning about new animals and traveling to different places to see them. He also enjoyed feeding the wildlife in his own backyard. Harold attended Carondolet Park Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses from infancy, and in 2005 he and his wife, Cheri became members of the Imperial Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

While Harold found great joy in life in general, the thing he loved most was worshipping and serving his God, Jehovah, along with his wife Cheri. He found great comfort in the hope of the resurrection, where he would be reunited right here on earth with his loved ones who had died. (Ps.

37:10, 11, 29) A visitatoin for Harold will be held Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO 63010. A memorial service will occur Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Imperial Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 5461 US-61/67, Imperial, MO 63052. Memorials may be made to the World Wide Work of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
