Obituary for Harold Reinke Harold LeRoy Reinke was born of January 14, 1944, in Sacred Heart Township, Renville County, Minnesota, the son of Henry A. and Helen M. (Slattum) Reinke. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Granite Falls and graduated from the Granite Falls High School. Harold was then drafted into the U.S. Army and proudly served his country at Ft.

Leonard Wood in Missouri. Upon his honorable discharge, Harold returned home to assist his parents in running the family farm. He also worked at Plews/Parker-Hannifan until its closing.

Harold then finished his working career at Par Piping, retiring due to health complications. Harold lived on the Minnesota River bottom all of his life. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and gardener.

Harold enjoyed numerous recreational activities such as playing cards, bowling, bingo and occasional visits to Prairie’s Edge Casino and East Crooked Lake near Nevis, Minnesota. He was also very involved in all aspects of his church, participating on several church boards and activities. Harold never preached a sermon, but if asked, he would have tried.

Harold never married. He is survived by his brother, Gerald (& Darlene) Reinke; his sister-in-law, Fay Reinke; nieces & nephews, Raymond Reinke, Tereasa C.M. Quintel (& partner, David Read), Mark Reinke, Allen (& Lorri) Reinke, Pam Reinke (& partner, David Zetah), Karen Himes; great nieces & nephews, Adam (& Heather) Reinke, Alexxa Reinke, Trevor Reinke, Tanner Reinke, Tracie Read, Megan Zetah, Cameron Zetah, Kaitlynn Zetah, Carly Reinke, Gina Reinke; a ‘soon-to-be’ great-great nephew; several cousins and extended family. Harold was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; his parents and a brother, Roger.
