Obituary of Harold Heady Bedford – Harold Morris Heady, 81, of Bedford, died at 8:21 pm on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Westview Nursing and Rehab. Born November 11, 1936, he was the son of Loren and Lois (Hackler) Heady. He married Margaret Elaine McCallum and she preceded him in death on October 10, 2012.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the First Baptist Church. He retired from General Motors in 1989. Surviving is one niece, Debbie Hackett and husband, Frank, of Bedford.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a brother, Loren E. Heady and a sister in infancy. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Monday, October 29th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Nathan Sundt officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the hour of service on Monday, October 29th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Family and friends may express condolences at www. daycarter.com.
