Harriett Copeland (Alexander), age 77, of Decatur passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019. She was born on November 16, 1941, to Henry Clifford Alexander and Mariah Hood Alexander in Pine Mountain, Georgia. She was an assembly line worker for General Motors.

She is survived by her husband Willie Copeland of Decatur; daughters, Rhunette Pledger, Felecia Cousins, and Valaria Copeland-Starr; brother, Phillip Alexander; sisters, Essie Kennebrew, Virginia Young, Lerah Spikes, and Luvicia Bryant; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on May 17, 2019, at Ousley Methodist Church, 3261 Panola Road in Lithonia. The Eulogist will be Rev.

Dr. Tariq Z. Cummings.
