Harvey Carroll Lawson, Jr. age 70, of Redfield went to be with his Lord on Thursday, November 29, 2018. He was born February 13, 1948 in Pine Bluff to the late Harvey C. Lawson, Sr. and Nettie Ann Lawson. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and a retired produce manager.

He enjoyed listening to music and spending time with family and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Lawson and brother-in-law Stan Cotton. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Brenda Lawson, two sons, Kevin Lawson and Chris Lawson, two sisters-in-law Peggy Cotton, Betty Hardwick (Chris) one brother-in-law Damon Cotton (Dawn), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan. Interment will follow in Rhodes Cemetery in Sheridan.
