Harvey H. Swain, age 80, of LaFollette (Habersham) went home to be with the Lord on Friday April 20, 2018. Harvey was a loving husband of 47 years, a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed attending church at Rock Creek Community Church where he was a Charter member for over 20 years.
Preceded in death by sons David Swain and Gary Swain, parents William and Sarah Blew Swain, brothers Arthur and Bobby Swain, sisters Ruby Durham, Easter Williamson and Dorothy Edleman. Survived by wife Clara Swain of LaFollette, son Jerry Swain and wife Lonni of Davenport Iowa, Bradley Swain of Ohio and Jeffery Swain of LaFollette, daughters Cathy Kenney and husband Roger and Linda Swain all of Illinois, brothers Howard Swain of Iowa, Carl Swain, Ralph Swain and wife Mary all of LaFollette, sister Rosie M. Hunt of Iowa and Arlene Shipley of MO, 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday April 24, 2018 in chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home, funeral service will follow at 7:00 with Rev.
Audie Murray officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 and go in funeral procession to Peabody Cemetery for 11:00 am interment.
