Mr. Smith was born in Captiva, Florida to father Albert Smith and mother Lily Foster Smith February 22, 1931. He was a farmer and worked hard for his wife and children.

Harvey is survived by his 6 children: Harvey Smith Jr., David Smith, Debbie Isom, Ronnie Smith, Steve Smith and Rita Smith along with 8 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife and 5 children. There will be a graveside service, Monday May 6, 2019 at Alva Cemetery, Alva Florida beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Norman Walker and Andrew Smith officiating.

Burial will follow.
