Hazel M. Crews, age 81 of Knoxville passed away Monday, December 3, 2018. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother that enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Hazel loved spending time outside and working in her garden.

Hazel also loved baking and cooking for her family and friends. She is preceded in death by parents Alexander and Martha (Wiltshire) Moore; brother Charlie Moore; sister Flora Mae Marlow. She is survived by husband of 64 years, Julian H. Crews of Knoxville; son Julian Earl Crews & wife Pam of Erwin, TN; 4 grandchildren, Shannon McFerrin & husband Ty of Knoxville, Julian Earl Crews Jr. & wife Amber of Mountain City, TN, Justin Crews, and Jessica Grindstaff; 6 great grandchildren Tyson, Crews, Joseph, Sydney, Julia, and Mia; brother Clarence Moore & wife Vina of LaFollette; sister Ruby Marsee of LaFollette; and a host of other loved ones and relatives.

Visitation will be 12 -2 PM Wednesday, December 5, 2018 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 2 PM with Rev. Perry Duncan officiating. Following funeral service friends and family will go in procession to Baker’s Forge Cemetery.
