Hazel’s Obituary Hazel Dean Cook, 53, of Vivian, LA passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home Chapel in Vivian, LA officiated by Rev. Sherrill Stiles.

Burial will be at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Vivian. There will be a time of visitation from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, March 5th at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home in Vivian, LA. Hazel was born March 24, 1965 in Vivian, LA to Donna Marie Honeycutt Dean and Lee Sylvester Dean.

She lived in Vivian all of her life. She was a member of the Nazarene Church of Vivian. Hazel loved to work puzzles.

She loved her family very much especially her grandchildren, she loved to attend her grandchildren’s events; she was their number one fan. Her grandbabies adored their Mamaw as much as she did them and loved spending time at her house. Hazel enjoyed fishing and trips to Murfreesboro, AR with her family.

She loved to laugh and was just a big kid at heart. Preceding Hazel in death where her parents, and her sister Alvis Kay Chatham. She is survived by her husband and best friend, Dexter Cook of Vivian, her daughter Sharon Johnson and husband Dakota of Bivins, TX, her siblings, Charles Dean and wife Robbie of Gray, TX, La Donna Sue Humphries of Vivian, Jennifer Gibson of Jefferson, TX, and Kathy Lambert of Jefferson, TX, her 6 grandchildren, Landon, Peyton, Blake, Gracelyn, Alaina and Emmaryn, and several nieces and nephews.
