Hazel J. Ewert, 83, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away at home, with her family present, after a long battle with cancer on Friday, May 24, 2019. She was born on Aug. 24, 1935, in Chicago, where she met her husband, Richard, and they were happily married for 62 years until his death on Jan.

6, 2016. Hazel was a very active member of the local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was well-loved by everyone there.
