Hazel Louise Tedder Matheson Priest, age 87 of Bladenboro and formerly of Chadbourn, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the West Bladen Assisted Living in Bladenboro. Born in Columbus County on July 10, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Chester R. Tedder and Ella Dew Tedder. Along with her parents, Louise was preceded in death by husband, Kenneth E. Mathewson, Sr.; eight siblings, Clarence Tedder, David Tedder, Lillie Tedder, Ruth Tedder, Reatha Tedder and A.J. Tedder.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 24, 2018 at Worthington Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Pine Crest Cemetery in Bladenboro. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until time of the service on Monday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn.

Survivors include her children, Kenneth E. Matheson, Sr. of Bladenboro, Lina M. Burney of Mt. Eagle, TN, Robert Matheson of Chadbourn, Nathan A. Matheson, Sr. of Bladenboro; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. A service of Worthington Funeral Home, Chadbourn.
