Hazel Rosalee Mulanax October 29, 1939 – May 26, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences Hazel Rosalee Welch Mulanax, 79, of Weatherford, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 26, 2019, at home with her family by her side. A Funeral Service in memory of Rosalee will be on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 2:00 p.m., at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave. , Weatherford, TX.

Visitation: 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service at White’s Funeral Home. Memorials may be made in Rosalee’s honor to Living Water International or a charity of your choice. Rosalee was born on October 29, 1939, on a country farm near Wetumka, Oklahoma, to John and Grace Welch, the third of seven siblings.

Rosalee was swept off her feet by Norman at age 16, and they married 2 weeks later, their love lasting a life time. They began their life together while Norman served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force, serving in Europe twice, and settled in Weatherford in 1972 where they lived a simple good life on the farm. She worked at Weatherford J. C. Penney for 32 years.

Rosalee had a heart of gold. She liked to keep busy by spending her time rocking on her back porch, gardening, exploring nature, raising quarter horses, spoiling her miniature donkeys, walking the back 40 acres, spoiling Maddie, and spending time with family. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Norman; her son, Tony; and 1st born grandson, Justin; dear parents, John and Grace Welch; and siblings, Ralph, Rena, and Jimmy.

Rosalee will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Joy Jordan (Kevin), Pam Walls (Dan); and daughter-in-law, Vickie Green; grandchildren, Nikki Dawson (Bryan), Peppar Garvin (Craig), Paige Bourland (Pacer), Samantha and Brittney Walls, and Austin Jordan; great-grandchildren, Sladen, Rhyder, Cole, Marlee, Bryleigh, Peyton, Cambrie, and Addalynn. She will also be forever remembered by her siblings, Roy (Maxine), Ruth, and David; her sweet dog, Maddie; and extended family and dear friends, including Carolyn and Carlos.
