Hazel Russell Parks, age 86 of LaFollette departed this life Monday, October 8, 2018. She was a loving mother and grandmother that enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also loved attending World Harvest Church in Caryville.
Hazel never met a stranger and enjoyed making people laugh. She is preceded in death by late husband Robert Parks and first husband Edward Hoyt Russell; son Everett Russell; daughter Shirley Scott; parents Arlie and Emma (Williamson) Brantley; brothers Arlie Brantley Jr. and Earl Brantley; sister Nadine Brantley. She is survived by sons David Russell & wife Jami of Alabama, Mark Russell & wife Selena of Jacksboro; daughter Renee Angel & husband Patrick of LaFollette; sisters Geneva Goins of Caryville, Dorothy McCreary of LaFollette, Juanita Hellard of Kettering, Ohio; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation for Hazel will be 10-11 AM Thursday, October 11, 2018 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 11 AM with Rev. Ned Asbury officiating. Friends and family will go in procession following service to Campbell Memorial Gardens for interment.
