Obituary for Hector Ismael Hinojosa Beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, Hector I. Hinojosa, 83, was born on August 29, 1934, in Pharr, TX. He returned to his heavenly home on May 12, 2018. Hector was the eldest of three children born to Ismael and Raquel Hinojosa.
He married his loving wife, Elva Hinojosa on January 23rd in McAllen, TX and was blessed with four wonderful children. He was a proud member of the United States Army. Following his service, he became a hardworking store manager at C. R. Anthony”s which later changed its name to Bealls, and retired in 1999.
Hector loved to laugh, spend time with his family, and play casino computer games. He is survived by his loving wife Elva Hinojosa, two siblings Robert (Oralia) and Rachel, four children Diane (Ervin), Hector Sam, Dahlia, and Robert (Delia), and grandchildren Angelica, Ashley, Clarissa (Jared), Mario, Devin, and Dylan. Visitation for Mr. Hinojosa will be Monday, May 14, 2018, from 4-8 pm with the rosary at 7 pm at Sunset Funeral Home – Americas.
Funeral mass will take place Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at Saint Paul Catholic Church with burial following at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
