Helen Ann Michalowski Filipowicz, 90, of Clifton, passed away Friday, March 22, 2019. Born inPassaic, she lived in Garfield before moving to Clifton 40 years ago. Prior to her retirement, she was a records clerk for the Garfield Police Department.

She was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church, Garfield, a former member of the English Rosary Society, and member of the Ss. Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, Clifton, Golden Age Club. Helen was the beloved wife of the late Walter Filipowicz, devoted mother of Michael Filipowicz, and his wife Marianne, of Garfield, Carol Lavin, and her husband James, of Clifton, and the late Walter, James, and Joel Filipowicz, loving grandmother of Rock, Walter, Sean, Ryan, James, Tyler, and the late Jacqueline, and great-grandchildren Sarah, Keyla, Ryleigh, and Ryan.
