Helen Bliss Sloan July 07, 1949 – May 24, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Helen Bliss Sloan age 69 of Milton-Freewater passed peacefully in her home on May 24, 2019 after courageously battling complications from a kidney transplant but the ensuing devastating cancer. Her gentle face and loving smile will be forever remembered and sorely missed by all that knew her. Her keen wit and kind words to others will never be forgotten.

Helen is survived by her loving husband of 49 years Don Sloan of Milton-Freewater and a sister Martha Chandler of Seattle, Washington. Her parents and a brother Arthur Beasley preceded her in death. As per her request, no memorial service will be held.

Those who wish may make memorial contributions in memory of Helen to the Providence St. Mary Cancer Center (Special Needs) or the National Kidney Foundation in care of the Munselle-Rhodes Funeral Home, 902 S. Main, Milton-Freewater, Oregon.
